How it all started...
We are a small church in a rural community. Lenox Church of God began in the front yard of Pat Kinard and her husband. A Preacher by the name of Rev Dooley approached the Kinards and asked if he could set up a tent in their front yard. They both agreed, and in 1955 Lenox Church of God was born. The church moved to Broad st and then to West Central Ave where it now sits.
Expanding the vision...
Our work is just starting. With different programs at the church we are constantly looking to do more for the kingdom of God. Feeding the homeless, sidewalk Sunday school, Teen outreach, and More. we Strive to build a bigger Heaven.
Where we are headed...
Currently, we are looking to do more outreach. We started our group Lenox United several years ago which is a group that includes all pastors and denominations in the city of Lenox. Now, we are starting up, Lighthouse Lenox. To focus on a city set on a hill for all to see. We want Lenox to shine for the glory of God.
